Dining at the Mermaid Inn
We are proud to offer an extensive menu prepared using local and free-range produce. Having worked in the industry for many years, we understand that fresh ingredients, prepared with care by experienced chefs on the premises, are essential to providing the best quality meals.
You can be sure that our fish is the freshest around with deliveries made every day - in fact, our our fish and chips are so popular locally we can now offer a take-away service, should you be passing by. We know exactly how to prepare the best Traditional Sunday roast too, with homemade pies also a speciality. Children are welcomed and well catered for with healthy dishes that will appeal to younger tastes. Cream teas are available every afternoon, and we naturally offer an extensive wine list.
We are pleased to include in our menu a selection of vegetarian dishes and meals suitable for those following a gluten-free diet.

In order to make your dining experience at the Mermaid as pleasurable as possible, we can offer a superb selection of dining areas, each with it's own unique ambience. Whatever the occasion, we have the right table for you.
- The Conservatory - With a spacious dining area which adjoins the rear garden, our conservatory has a light and airy feel which is particularly pleasant.
- Saloon Bar - An area within the main public bar is set aside for dining at all times, perfect for smaller groups or those with mobility difficulties.
- Upstairs Restaurant - Full of Cotswold character, this charming area is ideal for larger parties, with some tables offering delightful views over the High Street.

We are happy to accommodate parties of any size and can reserve areas for private functions.
